  • Students need to submit a signed Release Form to attend.  
  • Departure
  • The buses depart from the Arena immediately after graduation. We will not depart from or stop by LWHS 
• Please use the bathroom (if needed) before exiting the Arena as it will 
  take some time to load the buses and reach the first destination
• Changing – For students that wish to change, we recommend that the 
  parents hold the clothes during graduation and provide them to the 
  student afterwards. Students can change and then walk to the bus 
• Take pics before graduation – there will not be time afterwards 
• Students are not allowed to bring bags or purses on the bus 
• Snacks and water will be available on the buses 
• The buses will drop students off at LWHS at the end of the night. Factor this into 
  plans for going to the Arena. (If seniors drive to the Arena then their cars will 
  still be at the Arena.) 
• Dress: Comfortable clothes with closed-toe shoes.  The first event will have a 
  chilly outdoor component, so we recommend bringing a jacket or sweatshirt

LWHS Senior Party 2024

The LWHS Senior Party is a fun-filled all-night party for the Class of 2024! This annual tradition is a chaperoned, drug- and alcohol-free celebration that provides a safe, once-in-a-lifetime evening for our graduates. It is a last chance for graduates to be together after the formality of the ceremony and before they go their separate ways for summer and beyond and relieves the stress of making plans!

Selected venues for the party are top secret so as to surprise our Seniors!

What is Included: 

• Time at two different and new event venues 
• Dinner at the first venue, continental breakfast at the second, and snacks for the bus rides 
• DJ with light show 
• Blackjack tables with dealers 
• Hundreds of gift certificates to Chick-fil-A, Pagliacci, Nothing Bundt Cakes and other student favorites 
• Raffle prizes 
• Hypnotist performance with student participants 
• Transportation from UW to the events and returning to LWHS 

Senior Party Date and Time

Friday, June 14: 
7:30-9:30 PM: Graduation at the UW Alaska Airline Arena* 
9:30 PM: Bus check-in starts immediately after graduation in the Arena parking lot. The exact time and location will be announced closer to the event. 

Saturday, June 15: 
5:30 AM: Students return from the Senior Party*. Pickup will be at LWHS.  

*Graduation starts at 7:30 pm at UW's Alaska Airlines Arena and lasts about an hour. There will be very limited opportunities for photos and interactions following the ceremony. LWHS PTSA's Senior Farewell (formerly Senior Salute) event provides a better venue for pictures and congratulating your Senior(date TBD). Purchasing Senior Party Tickets 

Ticket prices: 

• $200 Through May 22 
• $225 between May 23 and June 12 
• All ticket purchases are non-refundable 
• Last day for ticket sales is JUNE 12th!

Students must all submit signed forms (see next section). 

Scholarships or a payment plan is available to support Seniors who need financial assistance to purchase tickets. Please see Jodee Hull at the main office or email jhull@lwsd.org for more information before registering.  

All ticket purchases are non-refundable.

Required Forms for Senior Party Attendance

All students must have a completed and signed a Release Form to attend the Senior Party. The form must be signed by both student and parent, regardless of whether the student is 18 or not.  

If your Senior has a life-threatening allergy or medical condition, the Emergency Care Plan must also be completed and returned.  

You may print/sign/scan the forms or sign them electronically.  Please email all completed, signed documents to seniorparty@lwhsptsa.org . You may also place printed forms in the PTSA box in the school’s main office. 

Bus Sign-Ups

Students may sign up to ride in a particular in order to ride with their friends.  The following sign-ups are scheduled to take place in the LWHS cafeteria:
