We all are dependent on our technology now for so much of our daily lives. But, when is our use of tech helpful and when is it becoming a problem. Our PTSA, in coordination with LWHS, is launching a campaign to help all of us  find balance in a digital world  and learn strategies to keep us on track. What:  In coordination with  National Day of Unplugging , Eyes UP, LW! is our local awareness campaign that promotes increased knowledge around digital wellbeing and a challenge to reduce our technology or social media consumption culminating with a 24 hour respite. Ms. Courage has requested volunteers to help pass out laptops. Volunteers are needed in 2-hour shifts on Tuesday, 8/25 from 9AM - 3PM; 8/26 from 12 noon to 6PM; and 8/27 from 9AM - 3PM. Families will drive through and not get out of their car. Please wear a mask and gloves will be provided. Everyone will be required to sign an attestation form . Laptop Rollout: Help Needed with Laptop Prep!
LWHS needs volunteers to help prep student laptops  starting this Thursday, August 20 . The laptops are sanitized and ready to be logged in with temporary passwords to make sure the passwords work. LWHS Staff will then pass out the laptops to students on August 25-27. Shifts are 2 hours each on Aug 20, 21, and 24. Each shift will have up to 6 people, spread out to be safely distanced.
